heimu tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Ledet - Facciolo, Triebenbacher, Hasllani - Randegger, Hinderdael, Babul, Gilucevičius, Obojes - Turu, Rentz.

Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. They were singing the praises of 卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) 14 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Grilled. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, 朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. Giorgio Facciolo of heimu seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Tobies Turu. The guests took the lead 39 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in Paul Obojes scoring to make it 1 - 2. The crowd roared in delight as Walter Ross finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Grilled 44 minutes into the match. 2 - 2. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

After 52 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by heimu was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. 62 minutes into the game, 朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Abdul bin Jantan. Grilled broke through on the left 72 minutes into the game, with Seytek Djekshenkulov firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 3 - 2 lead. The bench was restless, and with 72 minutes passed heimu's coach gave Raúl Chumbita the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Horst Triebenbacher reluctantly left the field. 74 minutes into the game, heimu had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let 凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) replace Walter Ross after 85 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim performed admirably for Grilled. However, Alex Fonseca made a disastrous appearance. heimu's top performer was clearly Tobies Turu. Willy Hinderdael was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
