ear skies welcomed the 4772 spectators who had made their way to The Cooking Pot. Gabriele Cavero was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kim Blommar and Arve Ballovarre. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. They fielded: Noubaryan - Bakhtiar, Awyong - Kong, Wee Li, Gudivada, Da Teck, Shaahee - 恒才 (Hengcai), Bellamoli, Wan Kang.

Iced decided to use a 4-3-3 set up. The following players took the field: Deloach - Ferlin, Aralica, Marchini, Žilić - Antić, Srdoč, Rompca - Boegly, Senden, Zmailović.

Grilled took a creative approach on the field. Iced's Harris Senden gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 3 minutes with a superb strike from the right. With 7 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Vid Srdoč of Iced to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. Vid Srdoč of Iced took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 25 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Iced, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Hovaness Noubaryan kept the home side in the game with a magnificent save when Harris Senden delivered an almost perfect free kick to the far post. The corner kick from Harris Senden was powerfully met by the head of Hieronim Rompca to make the score 0 - 4. By now, the players in Iced felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. With 65 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Harry Hoy came on, Shiya Shaahee had to leave the fray. 68 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as Draženko Aralica finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Marijan Ferlin behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 78 minutes as he gave the ball away to Harry Hoy. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Hieronim Rompca increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 6. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 88 minutes Colby Awyong made way for Walter Ross. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 88 minutes. Yvan Lefébure was given a chance to change things around. Hovaness Noubaryan was the new captain of Grilled - handed the armband by the departing player. Grilled had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai) performed admirably for Grilled. Dennis Kong was a disappointment, however. Iced's best player was Ursin Boegly. However, Stjepan Žilić made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 6.
