Grilled 4 - 3 Maschinä
ouds darkened the skies at The Cooking Pot as 4231 spectators turned up for the match.
Miguel Rubio was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Markus Koskinen and
Ivan Zackert. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. They fielded: Noubaryan - Bakhtiar, Awyong - Yong Yau, Gudivada, Da Teck, Adabala, Wee Li - Azhari, Boon Boon, 恒才 (Hengcai).
Maschinä decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. The following players had been chosen: Ergenç - Gaster, Wachter, Iliano - Jehle, Hartmann, Buriticá, Frommelt - Vogt, Schaedler, Zibi.
Maschinä clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Maschinä's
Bruno Frommelt after 7 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. Grilled's

Hilal Bakhtiar got himself booked for a foul. 22 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as
Bruno Frommelt finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Grilled refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle,
Teo Yong Yau managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
The Maschinä players could smell victory in the air.
Bruno Frommelt wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
Armando van Hilst after 47 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Maschinä coach let
Tjerk Laponder replace
Yvo Jehle after 52 minutes. 67 minutes into the match, Grilled's
Teo Yong Yau maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 2 - 2. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a goal after 72 minutes by
Wardi Azhari for Grilled, putting them ahead 3 - 2.
Hovaness Noubaryan's name was chanted throughout the stadium after he made a fantastic save from
Edwin 'Sniper' Vogt's shot from the left 74 minutes into the match. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's
Neo Da Teck got himself booked.
Alfredo Iliano was suffering from cramps and had difficulty keeping up as the opposition pushed forward.
Teo Yong Yau had no problems getting through and hit home the 4 - 2 goal. That made three goals for
Teo Yong Yau and he was marked down for the hat trick. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Grilled lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 82 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but
Sencer 'The Rock' Ergenç got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. Proving his experience,
Tjerk Laponder scored 4 - 3 for Maschinä after putting some pressure on the opposing defence at a critical moment. With 84 minutes played,
Martin Schaedler came in from the right and could have had the tying goal, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by Maschinä. Grilled's
Colby Awyong wanted to play on, but 88 minutes into the game the decision was made to substitute him for
Qassem Madaini. After 89 minutes, Maschinä switched
Zikomo Zibi with
Eugene Fournier, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.
Grilled's best player was
唐 (Tang) 恒才 (Hengcai). On the other hand,
