Grilled 1 - 7 CVPolska

ercast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 4324 at The Cooking Pot today. Jorge Luis Arguello was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Antonio Ricardo Casares and Dylan De Jésus. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. Lineup: Noubaryan - Awyong, Bakhtiar - Wee Li, Gudivada, 俊桂 (Jungui), Adabala, Da Teck - Boon Boon, Soon Ting, Yong Yau.

A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for CVPolska. They fielded: Jansson - Moura, Pappenheim, Alleraun, Manhoso - Pereira Jorge, Ant-Wuorinen, Kor, Moura Martins - Morais, Vik.

Grilled showed off their creative tactics. As the 20 minute approached, the CVPolska coach decided it was time for a substitution. Cédric Morais reluctantly made way for Dietrich Pflugk on the pitch. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 23 minutes into the match left CVPolska's Elchanan Kor completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. CVPolska increased the lead to 0 - 2 as Simo Ant-Wuorinen scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. CVPolska's Manfred Pappenheim was shown a yellow card after 25 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A thrilling play through the middle 29 minutes into the match gave CVPolska's Dietrich Pflugk a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. After 30 minutes, 林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui) sent the corner kick right to Krishnan Adabala who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 3! With 31 minutes played, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Filipe Jesus Manhoso, of CVPolska, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 1 - 4. 1 - 4 was the score after the first half. The forty-five minutes were dominated by CVPolska, with an impressive 56 percent possession of the ball.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's 林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui) was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. Edvaldo Mourão was given a chance to change things around. In an effort to secure the lead, CVPolska changed their tactic after 46 minutes. The away team's Miloslav Vik took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 47 minutes which increased CVPolska's lead to 1 - 5. After 57 minutes, CVPolska's Elchanan Kor burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 6. Confident in their lead, CVPolska's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar tried to get a goal back for his Grilled but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete. An amazing free kick flew past the home side keeper 65 minutes into the match, putting CVPolska ahead with the 1 - 7 goal. Simo Ant-Wuorinen was the scorer. The bench was restless, and with 88 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave Qassem Madaini the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar reluctantly left the field. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 88 minutes Colby Awyong made way for Vukota Crkvenjakov. CVPolska enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Qassem Madaini. Hovaness Noubaryan on the other hand, had a terrible day. CVPolska's best player was Miloslav Vik. On the other hand, Ulf Jansson's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 7.
