Tan Warms Up
17 year-old utility player Tan Ming Yeng was taken on a free transfer by Dominican Republic Division Three side Club de Sauna Cabarete, ahead of Best Ham County of Switzerland. Tan, who has covered just about all positions except goalkeeper during his time with the Wings, is expected to be groomed as a defender.
Scout Mok Feng De, who spotted Tan after his exploits with a neighbourhood Sunday league team, said that he requires guidance at this stage of his career if he is to shine. "I don't think we have found his best position yet, and it would be sad if he gets lost in the crowd just because he doesn't obviously excel in any area." Mok worried.
