Kolhy 1 - 3 Grilled

20 fans braved the pouring rain at Almendares Park. Gunnar Wanka was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Barnabás Kristóf and Rahim Taya. A ‭5-3-2‬ alignment was the formation of choice for Kolhy. They fielded: Azul - Légrádi, Stachowiak, 明发 (Mingfa), Julkunen, Sulantay - Britto, Kamničar, Damiani - Cravero, Taipe.

Grilled had chosen a strategic ‭4-3-3‬ formation. Lineup: Silvera - Ross, Crkvenjakov, Madaini, Tzonkov - Lefébure, 长春 (Changchun), Mourão - 修宇 (Xiuyu), Boon Boon, 勇航 (Yonghang).

Kolhy tried to focus their attacks down the middle. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit 范 (Fan) 修宇 (Xiuyu) just fine. 7 minutes into the match, the visiting Grilled scored the 0 - 1 goal after Yvan Lefébure executed a perfect free kick. The referee showed Grilled's 范 (Fan) 修宇 (Xiuyu) the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Edmund Stachowiak was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Kolhy's Estewart Valverde had to come off the bench. After 34 minutes, Grilled's Yvan Lefébure burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. After 37 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Li Boon Boon who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 3. By now, the players in Grilled felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defense and not risking too much going forward. With 39 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Kolhy resulted in a counterattack that set Román Taipe free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 67 percent of possession.

As Edvaldo Mourão was substituted 46 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead. Anders Josefsson was the replacement. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Björn Olsson replace Walter Ross after 46 minutes. Grilled's Vukota Crkvenjakov wanted to play on, but 46 minutes into the game the decision was made to substitute him for Niculae Stanca. It was obvious that team Kolhy had instructions to attack in the middle when they choose to try attacking in the center instead of on the wing. Kolhy played a good counterattacking move down the left 62 minutes into the match, with Timotej Kamničar finishing well for 1 - 3. Grilled had to manage with a reduced squad after 70 minutes, as 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. The Kolhy player who had to be helped off the pitch, was Román Taipe as he was unable to finish the game. Stein Selvik came in to finish the match. Stein Selvik was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. Grilled's Qassem Madaini was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

The most dominating Kolhy player was without a doubt Ciro Cravero. However, Timotej Kamničar made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's best player was 范 (Fan) 修宇 (Xiuyu). Alvaro Silvera was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
