Grilled clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle when they choose to try attacking in the center instead of on the wing. Making his way up the middle 16 minutes into the match, Gleb Dorogan almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert Oto Šátek blocked it to keep the score level. Grilled could have put themselves ahead after 30 minutes but Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. It was 0 - 0 at the break. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 86 percent of possession.

The counterattacks of Perrera were deadly and 59 minutes into the game, Leon Potzel got a long pass from the right flank, making it 0 - 1. With 60 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Quah Han Kok came on, Gleb Dorogan had to leave the fray. After 63 minutes, Yvan Lefébure sent the corner kick right to Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1-1! Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Some great play up the middle by Grilled led to a chance for 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) to get the go-ahead goal after 70 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Grilled took the lead 79 minutes into the match after a magnificent free kick by Yvan Lefébure that made the score 2 - 1. A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 82 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Perrera's Waldemar Ziembla to one side and produced a red card for the player. Cheers filled the stadium as 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 3 - 1 goal for Grilled. 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) should probably have put his team up another goal after 86 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Oto Šátek kept the visitors in the game. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 87 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt 范 (Fan) 修宇 (Xiuyu). However, Niculae Stanca made a disastrous appearance. Perrera's best player was Fred Lecroque. On the other hand, Leon Potzel's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 1.
