Grilled were relying on their ability to counter-attack. After a fine move down the middle Radivoje Milašević nearly gave the home side a goal after 7 minutes. The finishing shot went just wide, though. Many thought Heikki Vuokila ought to have been awarded a penalty 10 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around Valdir Dias Paes after a determined run through the middle. Gleb Dorogan of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Arrogancae, with an impressive 64 percent possession of the ball.

Erik Back would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Yvan Lefébure entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 60 minutes. The coach of Grilled wanted to try to change things around after 60 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions. With the match clock at 60 minutes, Grilled modified their style of play a little bit. Some mind-boggling play by Gleb Dorogan almost resulted in a goal for Arrogancae, but 潘 (Pan) 达维 (Dawei)'s shot went off the post. Grilled's Domenik Bögengang was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Arrogancae took the lead 84 minutes in, as Heikki Vuokila broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Arrogancae's Darmantas Niurnaitis putting the lead up to 2 - 0. Arrogancae's players now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Arrogancae added another goal to their lead as 潘 (Pan) 达维 (Dawei) struck home the 3 - 0 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. Arrogancae had to make a substitution after 88 minutes. Heikki Vuokila limped off the field and was replaced by 孟 (Meng) 云滨 (Yunbin). This half belonged to Arrogancae, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.
