Cheers filled the stadium as Lo�c Verkuil broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 3 - 0 goal for seluraralc. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. seluraralc claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

After 46 minutes, Grilled switched Erik Back with Kyou-Chull Kim, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. seluraralc put in a good effort on the right, but Can Arafat saw his volley fly wide of the mark 59 minutes into the game. The seluraralc coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 60 minutes into the game. As Claus Juergen Pistner was substituted 60 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead. Lorenzo Minicucci was the replacement. Han Lik-Tsun was called on to replace Grilled's Bj�rn Olsson after 72 minutes following a nasty collision. With 85 minutes played, Lorenzo Minicucci could have brought this one home for seluraralc as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Chua Puay Ming made a brilliant save 86 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from Gleb Dorogan on the right hand side. After 89 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Jes�s Puelles might have resulted in another goal for seluraralc. However, Valdir Dias Paes made a spectacular save. Grilled's Valdir Dias Paes had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 89 minutes having been played. Alvaro Silvera was the replacement. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim took over the role of being the Grilled captain. The forty-five minutes were dominated by seluraralc, with an impressive 66 percent possession of the ball.
