Grilled 5 - 0 tawşan
44 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Arnaldo Zamperetti was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Bei Cheng Xing and
Alphonse Dabin. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Silvera - Chuan Heng, Lik-Tsun, bin Yaacob - Penati, Lefébure, Back, Josefsson - 勇航 (Yonghang) , bin Mohamad, 修宇 (Xiuyu).
tawşan had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation. The following players took the field: Ağır - Tümer, Shivhon, Kermer, Eckert, Sertan - Skiecevičius, Chiacigh, Uluğ, Landaluce Ugarte - Gaullier.
Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Grilled on this day. They were singing the praises of
Erik Back 3 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from just outside the centre part of the opponent's penalty area found its way over the visitors keeper to make the score 1 - 0 for Grilled.
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) almost managed to score another goal for Grilled, coming from the right, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors' keeper.
Fahri Sertan of tawşan received a yellow card after 17 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 19 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
Anders Josefsson might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However,
Onur Ağır made a spectacular save. In a rapid move 24 minutes into the match,
Safri bin Mohamad of Grilled lost his man, passed the ball to the unmarked
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) who easily hit it home for the 2-0 goal. Coming in from the right, tawşan had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 26 minutes, but
Norvydas Skiecevičius's attempt to finish was easily stopped. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 81 percent of the time.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let
Edvaldo Mourão replace
Anders Josefsson after 46 minutes. Grilled was now without a captain, so it was left to
Edvaldo Mourão to take the captain's armband. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob after 49 minutes. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Grilled.
Erik Back increased Grilled's lead to 4 - 0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. 77 minutes into the match,
Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob could have extended the lead, but his very hard free kick went just over the bar. Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
Edvaldo Mourão squirmed himself through their central defence after 79 minutes, bringing the lead to 5 - 0. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 82 percent of possession.
Most important Grilled player was
Safri bin Mohamad.
Han Lik-Tsun was a disappointment, however. tawşan's top performer was clearly
Gregor Kermer.
Norvydas Skiecevičius on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
