Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Grilled. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 15 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Heikki Vuokila, who, unaided, came in from the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper. Grilled's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 19 minutes gone, but Domenik Bögengang's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Chow Ying Lee tried using a burst of speed to get past his defender after 41 minutes, but it takes more than that to get past fast Cornelus van Schie. 潘 (Pan) 达维 (Dawei) had a fantastic opportunity to put Arrogancae up another goal 42 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Arrogancae claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's Erik Back was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. Anders Josefsson was given a chance to change things around. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes Quah Han Kok made way for Kyou-Chull Kim. Heikki Vuokila should probably have put his team up another goal after 66 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Valdir Dias Paes kept the visitors in the game. The referee showed Grilled's Yvan Lefébure the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Caín Falero squirmed himself through their central defence after 86 minutes, bringing the lead to 2 - 0. Arrogancae enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

Arrogancae's top performer was clearly Georgică Bălan. Caín Falero turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. Kyou-Chull Kim was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
