A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for heimu. The following players had been chosen: Smaev - Jing Hin, 奥博 (Aobo) , Zannoni - Petracchini, Leemans, bin Durum, Schunck, Foster - Uraz, Turu.

Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Gleb Dorogan gave Grilled the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post. The referee showed heimu's Sido Leemans the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Gleb Dorogan unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Grilled had to manage with a reduced squad after 16 minutes, as Nawaz Talib got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. Coming through the middle Zeynel Uraz almost scored the equaliser for heimu after 17 minutes, but Valdir Dias Paes made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post. Grilled had a good oppurtunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Grilled solidified their lead at the 38 minute mark, as Matthias Branbilla manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 2 - 0. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Grilled's Maikel Rotteveel wanted to play on, but 46 minutes into the game the decision was made to substitute him for Martin Torsson. A great save by keeper Dmitry Smaev after 55 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Gleb Dorogan struck from the left with a real cannonball. heimu reduced the score after 67 minutes to 2 - 1 as 朱 (Zhu) 奥博 (Aobo) easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. Zeynel Uraz of heimu was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 73 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but Valdir Dias Paes got the best of it, blocking the shot from Yap Jing Hin. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for team Grilled, and they were successfully passing the ball from the wing into the middle to get them on. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Domenik Bögengang putting the lead up to 3 - 1. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.



Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. Edvaldo Mourão was a disappointment, however. Tobies Turu performed admirably for heimu. Florentino Foster turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
