Ramli Buggers Off

The slightly-portly Sri Jaafar bin Ramli went off the beaten track, as he will further his development in faraway Azerbaijan after being picked up by Bilgeh of the third division for a round S$300 000.

Sri Jaafar will have stiff competition in the shape of Italian lads Andrea Signori and Giancarlo Cotti Borrone, who arrived from Azzurra Partenopea and FC La Contea respectively, while 24 year-old Serbian goalkeeper Naum Murati also made his entrance.

Grilled's youth coaches are certain that Bilgeh have got themselves a sweet deal. "I've worked with Jaafar since he joined up at fifteen, and he sure has good footballing sense." one of them commented. "He's useful in clogging up passing lanes when we don't have the ball, too!"
