Grilled 6 - 0 De_Sangkakala

ather conditions were fairly good for football, and The Cooking Pot saw a crowd turnout of 41487. Asser Backman was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Özcan Uslu and Diego Faraco. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Dias Paes - Crkvenjakov, Behr, Talib - Penati, Branbilla, Han Kok, Dorogan - Rotteveel, Bögengang, bin Mohd Kassim.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for De_Sangkakala. Starters: Guevara - Dieu, Dekhil, Szołtysik - Merino, Javia, Valsecchi, El-Talib, Chitu - Moreno, Drieskens.

De_Sangkakala mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. 25 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. Scorer for Grilled was Maikel Rotteveel. 35 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Maikel Rotteveel dashed through, knocking home 2 - 0 for Grilled. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 38 minutes, Grilled did not go for a direct shot but instead aimed for the area just in front of the keeper. The attacking players made several runs as the ball was played and made it hard for the defenders to protect their goal. After a short tussle with the defender, Gleb Dorogan could finally lay the ball to rest behind the keeper. 3 - 0, and proof that it can pay off to come prepared. Some mind-boggling play by Gleb Dorogan almost resulted in a goal for De_Sangkakala, but Paco Pepe Merino's shot went off the post. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Domenik Bögengang putting the lead up to 4 - 0. After this, Grilled lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. 41 minutes into the game, Grilled were awarded a penalty that Maikel Rotteveel turned into 5 - 0 without a problem. By then Maikel Rotteveel was a three time scorer - a hat trick! 5 - 0 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

Grilled's Domenik Bögengang swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. Maikel Rotteveel wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Martin Torsson after 60 minutes. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 60 minutes, Michele Salieri came on for Domenik Bögengang. Michele Salieri should probably have put his team up another goal after 63 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by Héctor Argentino Guevara kept the visitors in the game. Grilled put themselves up 6 - 0 when Vukota Crkvenjakov broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, De_Sangkakala's José Javia got himself booked. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Most important Grilled player was Valdir Dias Paes. Martin Torsson turned in a dismal performance, however. De_Sangkakala's best player was Giorgio Valsecchi. José Javia was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 0.
