Grilled 4 - 1 Satans
344 spectators had found their way to The Cooking Pot, despite the heavy rain.
Claudino Duarte was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vinko Žodan and
Vecih Tören. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Starters: Dias Paes - è¾¾è£ (Darong) , Behr, Ãrva, Torsson - Penati, Branbilla, Han Kok, å·åŸŽ (Chuancheng) - bin Ku Zainol, MacKinnon.
Satans decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. The following players took the field: Grafhorst - Kin Hung, Nojman, Perret, Ming Yong - Parkhomchuk, Didović, Roldán, Wright - Wan Ho, Moral.
It was an obvious ambition of Grilled to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
Martin Torsson's lack of experience almost gave Satans a goal after 3 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 13 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
å° (Feng) è¾¾è£ (Darong) , who, unaided, came in from the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper.
Ciro Penati, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. Grilled solidified their lead at the 18 minute mark, as
Subri bin Ku Zainol manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 2 - 0. Grilled's
Subri bin Ku Zainol was delighted to score the 3 - 0 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing after 20 minutes. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Grilled. Grilled's counterattacks created a good chance for
Martin Torsson on the right, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. A great save by keeper
Eddy Grafhorst after 32 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
Subri bin Ku Zainol struck from the left with a real cannonball. Halftime score was 3 - 0. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 51 percent possession of the ball.
Iker Moral nearly reduced 67 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by
Valdir Dias Paes put a stop to the attempt coming in from the right flank. The score became 4 - 0 at 74 minutes into the game, when Grilled were given a penalty with which
Subri bin Ku Zainol made no mistake. This third goal made a hat trick for
Subri bin Ku Zainol. The visitors replied 75 minutes into the game, scoring the 4 - 1 goal, as
Iker Moral dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. 76 minutes into the match Satans's
Viktor Parkhomchuk head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. The game was a stalemate so far, with possession split evenly between the teams.
Valdir Dias Paes performed admirably for Grilled.
Martin Torsson was a disappointment, however. Satans's best player was
Iker Moral.
Anatol Nojman turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
