Cannoneers seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Grilled used their skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field. Grilled's Weng Seng-Huat got himself booked for a foul. Cannoneers claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

Cannoneers's best player was Mario Eder. Andreas Peter on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Grilled player was Asher Stanton. Antonio Fernández Riviera was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
