Abdul Austria Bound
17 year-old midfielder Abdul bin Jantan passed on the chance to join former Chicken Wings teammate Jiang Tai at Wee Li'l Lads, as he instead opted to hook up with Austrian Division Seven team Villach United for a nominal fee.
Villach have currently been on a buying spree as they aim to build up their squad, with nine purchases since their formation a month ago, though a spate of injuries may have been a factor.
"It's nice to be part of something new." Abdul bin Jantan commented, adding that he had struck up a working relationship with fellow youth arrivee, Samppa Roine of Finland. "They have a winning mentality here, and I look forward to being part of their ascent into the sixth division."
