Strovolos vs El Kontaron
Responding to the new initiative by the Hattrick leagues to let clubs play their friendlies worldwide, Grilled Birds are none too eager to declare that the first neutral friendly they play host to will be between Strovolos of the Cypriot Division Two, and El Kontaron, a Third Division side from Macedonia, Greece.
"It's a step forward for soccer as far as I'm concerned," Grilled Birds director Toh Chye Woo said. "Fans will be spoilt for choice. Our allotment of away tickets for the Cup tie sold out pretty quickly, so no doubt some will stay at The Cooking Pot to witness a very meaningful friendly."
