Fredgård Farewell
Anders Fredgård bid adieu to Grilled after 77 appearances, moving to ambitious Ukraine Division Five side Champion86 for S$1.676 million. Despite not having the best of times recently as a dip in form saw him kept out of the first team, Fredgård was still in hot demand despite Grilled's including asking price of S$1.2 million, and he strongly considered a switch back home to Styrmannen BK (Swedish Division Five) before deciding on more adventure.
Other interested parties were Hjallerup IF (Danish Division Six), FC Bomberpiloten (Swiss Division Six), realgiuseppino (Italian Division Seven), Chorizos pirulacticos F.C (Chilean Division Six), Trumma på! (Swedish Division Three) and FC TUONELA (Finnish Division Four).
Fredgård's impending departure was announced by the club shortly after the Cup quarterfinal against Team Singapore, where he was an unused substitute.
