Tajudin Shines
19 year-old winger Tajudin bin Daud transferred to Sentosa's Shining Lights for S$10 000 in a move that was not exactly popular within the Academy. "He was no dribbler, fast though, but most importantly he was the soul of the place," fellow trainee Chen Chang Moh said. "It'll feel kinda strange without him around."
Two other local clubs, Goosmeister and All Stars Team, enquired about Tajudin, but the Malay teenager chose Shining Lights because they dangled the opportunity for him to be sent abroad soon. "I've always wanted travel!" the dreamy Tajudin said.
