Grilled 4 - 0 Republic

000 spectators had come to Gamma Stadium this cloudy day. Rómeó Mocsary was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Håkan Ulvmar and Siegfried Dastis. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Bao-Tam - Alcántara, Tuan-Mu, Dewilde - Dai-Lin, Ju-Hau, Tellskär, Noor Yadah, Kek-Tjiang - Hjortlind, Kearney.

Republic had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Karlsson - Hock-Chai, Knutsson, Fagerby - Gröönman, Eggstad, Gunnarsson, Sunesson, Cotino Hueso - Di-An, Tse-mach.

Ulf Hjortlind gave Grilled the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post. The referee showed Republic's Li Hock-Chai the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled put themselves up 2 - 0 when Wilson Kearney broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. 27 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Aznan Noor Yadah dashed through, knocking home 3 - 0 for Grilled. 34 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Zhan Ju-Hau dashed through, knocking home 4 - 0 for Grilled. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 61 percent possession of the ball.

After 55 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Zhan Ju-Hau might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Per Karlsson made a spectacular save. The referee showed Republic's Holger Sunesson the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Aznan Noor Yadah was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Grilled's Asher Stanton had to come off the bench. The home side's Wilson Kearney came close to extending the lead 71 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but Per Karlsson managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 62 percent of possession.

Most important Grilled player was Daniel Tellskär. Shen Kek-Tjiang was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Republic player was without a doubt Per Karlsson. However, Henrik Gröönman made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 0.
