Grilled 3 - 1 BlueNite

140 punters turned up at The Cooking Pot, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Eberhardt Kupferschmiede was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alfredo Riscanebo and Jean-Luc Plantier-Royon. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. Lineup: Abed-Sulaiman - Fredgård, Bona, Zywczyn - Spirig, Kek-Tjiang, Han Kok, Paullin, Borup - Martinsson, Kadak.

BlueNite tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Ha-Tram - Zhi-Peng, Ho-kuen, Minh-Duy - Iren, Yeng Eng, Mårtensson, Yi-Ping, Norrmo - bin Rasdi, Moana.

With 21 minutes played, Grilled's Dani Spirig fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Dani Spirig for diving. Grilled were very close to putting themselves one up after 28 minutes as Dani Spirig got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Grilled took the lead 29 minutes into the game by 1 to 0, as Sylweriusz Zywczyn elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Quah Han Kok putting the lead up to 2 - 0. The referee showed Grilled's Lorenz Paullin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

A great save by keeper Zhuan Ha-Tram after 51 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Ola Martinsson struck from the left with a real cannonball. With 53 minutes played, Grilled's Dani Spirig tried to nail the coffin shut, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. 59 minutes in, BlueNite's Liu Yi-Ping received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Cheers filled the stadium as Sylweriusz Zywczyn broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 3 - 0 goal for Grilled. 68 minutes into the match, the speedy Giuseppe Moana easily outpaced Anders Fredgård to knock in the 3-1 goal. There was concern in the stands when, at the 72 minute mark, BlueNite's Mikael Iren hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman. Ola Martinsson on the other hand, had a terrible day. Leo Ho-kuen performed admirably for BlueNite. Zhuan Ha-Tram was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
