Grilled were forced to a substitution as Lan Tuan-Mu couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Nor Suhaimi bin Che Lah to come in from the sidelines. 42 minutes into the game, Clown seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organization. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 62 percent of possession.

During the break, Clown's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organization.
