WhiteShark 1 - 3 Grilled
00 spectators arrived at WhiteShark Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Carl Semsch was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Udo Wedekind and
Jonas Tellman. WhiteShark had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Sjöblom - Coong-Vinh, bin Yusuf, Jia-Jie - Ma-Huan, Soo-Myong, Shing-Cheong, Po-Mya, Byung-Ho - Chee-Hoong, bin Mahmood.
Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Bao-Tam - Siu-Cheung, Sun-Nee, Tuan-Mu - Seng-kar, Machado, García Sole, Noor Yadah, Magnusson - Chiew-Yen, Hobson.
Liu Coong-Vinh gave WhiteShark the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, WhiteShark's
Shamsul Akmar bin Yusuf got himself booked. After 22 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
Gao Byung-Ho might have resulted in another goal for WhiteShark. However,
Hang Bao-Tam made a spectacular save.
Cen Chee-Hoong of WhiteShark received a yellow card after 29 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Grilled levelled the score after 37 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as
Chen Chiew-Yen struck home after a fine midfield combination through the middle, leaving him completely unmarked. Grilled's
Gao Seng-kar left the field after 42 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
Zhan Ju-Hau. Grilled had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 43 minutes in when
Ricard Machado came up alone against
Rickard Sjöblom who managed a block. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 70 percent of possession.
Grilled took the lead 47 minutes into the game, scoring the 1 - 2 goal after some elegant plays down the middle.
Aznan Noor Yadah was the scorer.
Chen Chiew-Yen was, after 55 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but home side's keeper
Rickard Sjöblom made the save. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Grilled goal after 63 minutes, making it 1 - 3.
Kau Siu-Cheung was noted down as the scorer. 63 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when WhiteShark's
Cen Chee-Hoong received his second yellow card and was sent off. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 86 percent possession of the ball.
WhiteShark's best player was
Halim bin Mahmood. However,
Wang Po-Mya made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt
Hang Bao-Tam.
Peter Magnusson was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
