With 27 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
Subri bin Ku Zainol flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. Grilled's
Subri bin Ku Zainol struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 2 - 0 after 34 minutes.
Ken Paquette's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some amazing plays that fooled the defence. Grilled were given a penalty 39 minutes into the match - neatly put away by
Subri bin Ku Zainol. 3 - 0 for the home side. At that,
Subri bin Ku Zainol was noted down for a hat trick. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Grilled. 41 minutes into the match Archlight's
Cees Crol head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. 42 minutes in, Archlight's
Marko Tauz received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
Ciro Penati should probably have put his team up another goal after 51 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
Carlos Luis Ibáñez kept the visitors in the game.
Subri bin Ku Zainol gave Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0 after 75 minutes, following a good exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. A great save by keeper
Carlos Luis Ibáñez after 78 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
Nawaz Talib struck from the left with a real cannonball. When
Marko Tauz made yet another studs-first tackle after 79 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Archlight player for the second time, sending him off the pitch.
Willfried Bleibaum became the new Archlight captain. Grilled had to make a substitution after 87 minutes.
Quah Han Kok limped off the field and was replaced by
Ivaylo Mirchev. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 53 percent possession of the ball.
Grilled's top performer was clearly
Valdir Dias Paes. However,
Ivaylo Mirchev made a disastrous appearance.
Ken Paquette performed admirably for Archlight.
Willfried Bleibaum was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
