A penalty was given after 34 minutes, allowing the visitors to gain the lead: 0 - 1. Maikel Rotteveel was the scorer. After 35 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for 胡 (Hu) 剑勇 (Jianyong) who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. The away team's 胡 (Hu) 剑勇 (Jianyong) took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 39 minutes which increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 3. By now, Grilled were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. After 40 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed 胡 (Hu) 剑勇 (Jianyong) to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for 胡 (Hu) 剑勇 (Jianyong) . With 43 minutes played, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Subri bin Ku Zainol, of Grilled, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 0 - 5. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's Matthias Branbilla got himself booked. Halftime score was 0 - 5. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 81 percent possession of the ball.

UNITED's Othman bin Mohamed got himself booked for a foul. The visitors' Ahmad Tharmini bin Selamat took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and central backs 61 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Grilled. The home keeper was stunned 63 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by Maikel Rotteveel and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 7. A thrilling play through the middle 67 minutes into the match gave Grilled's John MacKinnon a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 8. Grilled's Subri bin Ku Zainol received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 69 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 9 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. With 72 minutes played, UNITED's Afandi bin Abd Hamid fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Afandi bin Abd Hamid for diving. The home crowd was not impressed when Subri bin Ku Zainol came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 75 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 10. This third goal made a hat trick for Subri bin Ku Zainol. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 83 percent of possession.

UNITED's top performer was clearly 唐 (Tang) 恒南 (Hengnan). Chia Jing Hao on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was Valdir Dias Paes. On the other hand, Ahmad Tharmini bin Selamat's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 10.
