Sportive 9 - 2 Grilled
18 spectators had found their way to Dome of the Sportive, despite the heavy rain.
Christian Marx was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Bohumír Haluško and
Libor Vraspír. Sportive started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Brenninkmeyer - Schmitz, RodrÃguez, Lukovnikov - Persson, Tivadar, Robledales, LepczyÅ„ski, Maurin - Pluijmert, Nawalaniec.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. They fielded: Bao-Tam - è¾¾è£ (Darong) , 辉洪 (Huihong) , Seng-Huat, Deme - 剑勇 (Jianyong) , Mirchev, å¹³æ£ (Pingzheng), å·åŸŽ (Chuancheng) - Hjortlind, bin Yaacob.
Grilled had a good opportunity to score the lead goal but the home team's goaltender
Frits Brenninkmeyer saved
Sándor Deme's shot that was headed for the top corner from the right. Sportive fans held their breath as
Lech Nawalaniec scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the go-ahead goal for 1-0! Cheers filled the stadium as
Gustaw Lepczyński broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 2 - 0 goal for Sportive. 29 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
Lech Nawalaniec dashed through, knocking home 3 - 0 for Sportive. The away team reduced the score to 3 - 1, as
Ivaylo Mirchev struck home, set up well by a play on the left 31 minutes into the match. Sportive's
Olav Schmitz got himself booked for a foul. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. Sportive claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.
The bench was restless, and in the 46th minute Grilled's coach gave
Zulkiflee bin Othman the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
å° (Feng) è¾¾è£ (Darong) reluctantly left the field.
Péter Tivadar sailed high above the opponents as he headed the 4-1 goal in on a corner kick from
Olav Schmitz after 55 minutes of play. Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
Brieuc Maurin squirmed himself through their central defence after 58 minutes, bringing the lead to 5 - 1. The structure of the game started to change as Sportive decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half.
Ache Robledales's lack of experience almost gave Grilled a goal after 62 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. Sportive added another goal to their lead as
Péter Tivadar struck home the 6 - 1 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. There wasn't much opportunity for rapid movements on this wet day, which hindered
胡 (Hu) 辉洪 (Huihong) in particular. 77 minutes into the match
Olav Schmitz put Sportive ahead 7 - 1 with a truly marvelous free kick.
Machiel van Minnen was called on to replace Sportive's
Ruslan Lukovnikov after 83 minutes following a nasty collision. Sportive managed to extend their lead to 8 - 1 when
Frodo RodrÃguez cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's
佘 (She) å¹³æ£ (Pingzheng) got himself booked.
Ache Robledales acted foolishly after 87 minutes, giving the ball up to Grilled's
Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob who had no trouble finding the back of the net. 8 - 2. Sportive solidified their lead at the 88 minute mark, as
Ola Persson manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 9 - 2. A late sliding challenge from Sportive's
Olav Schmitz was deemed to be his second yellow card offence by the referee, resulting in him being sent off. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Sportive, with an impressive 65 percent possession of the ball.
The most dominating Sportive player was without a doubt
Brieuc Maurin. On the other hand,
Frits Brenninkmeyer's play was disheartening. Grilled's best player was
范 (Fan) å·åŸŽ (Chuancheng) .
Weng Seng-Huat on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 9 - 2.
