Blooming made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Carlos Antônio Luz completely alone with keeper Hang Bao-Tam, who made a spectacular block. 42 minutes into the game, Blooming had difficulty finding their positions and their organization dropped to inadequate. With 82 minutes played, Grilled's Jon Andrea Rottman fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Jon Andrea Rottman for diving. 85 minutes in, Blooming appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only solid. Carlos Antônio Luz was clearly tired at the end of the game and Jon Andrea Rottman nicked the ball from him, but was unable to put it past the keeper. Grilled came close to extending their lead as Jon Andrea Rottman delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 89 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting.
