Grilled 4 - 4 rozus
34 spectators had found their way to The Cooking Pot, despite the heavy rain.
Diddy Wilmowski was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Dafin Stoica and
Chaturaanan Upadhayaya. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Starters: Dias Paes - Deme, Alcántara, Seng-Huat, bin Selamat - Penati, Fjällbratt, Branbilla, Chowdhury - Mirchev, bin Yaacob.
rozus started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Gato - Anglikowski, Håkansson, Kiełkowski - Beer, Dryl, Denkowski, Kozikowski, de Alba - Sinkiewicz, Wiciak.
Grilled's
Ivaylo Mirchev got himself booked for a foul. The rain made it hard for players like
Tapesh Chowdhury to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 39 minutes, rozus did not go for a direct shot but instead aimed for the area just in front of the keeper. The attacking players made several runs as the ball was played and made it hard for the defenders to protect their goal. After a short tussle with the defender,
Wiesław Anglikowski could finally lay the ball to rest behind the keeper. 0 - 1, and proof that it can pay off to come prepared. After 40 minutes rozus's
José Gato limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The crowd chanted their encouragement as Grilled's
Mohd Firdaus bin Yaacob came in from the right after 42 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. Grilled's
Ahmad Tharmini bin Selamat got himself booked for a foul.
José Gato was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so rozus's
Albert Surma had to come off the bench. Halftime score was 1 - 1. The forty-five minutes were dominated by rozus, with an impressive 55 percent possession of the ball.
Peter Fjällbratt's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his goal up the middle after 66 minutes gave Grilled the 2 - 1 lead. rozus's
Albert Surma had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 70 minutes having been played.
Henryk Kosno was the replacement. rozus levelled the score after 75 minutes to make it 2 - 2, as
Feliks Wiciak struck home after a fine midfield combination through the middle, leaving him completely unmarked. 2 - 3 was the score with 77 minutes played, after rozus's
Jarosław Dryl cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal.
Ivaylo Mirchev pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, after 78 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 3 - 3 equaliser away. The corner kick from
Patrik HÃ¥kansson set
Roman Denkowski up perfectly, as he soared to meet the ball, heading it in for 3 - 4.
Ivaylo Mirchev pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, after 79 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 4 - 4 equaliser away. The forty-five minutes were dominated by rozus, with an impressive 54 percent possession of the ball.
Grilled's best player was
Valdir Dias Paes.
Luis Alcántara turned in a dismal performance, however.
Zenon Kozikowski performed admirably for rozus.
Henryk Kosno on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 4.
