Pompiliu Luchian manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 2 - 0. With 17 minutes played, E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
Pablo Paiaro, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Pompiliu Luchian gave E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0 after 32 minutes, following a good exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. 37 minutes in,
Ciro Penati made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but
Jerry Schären refused to let the ball slip by him. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T held the ball, with a clear 80 percent of possession.

Jack Mayeax put E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T ahead 5 - 0 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T. Grilled reduced the score after 51 minutes to 5 - 1 as
Tapesh Chowdhury easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. The referee showed Grilled's
Weng Seng-Huat the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With 65 minutes played, E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T put themselves up 6 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
Musa Rashid, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
