Grilled 5 - 4 Chemistry
300 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Ulf Berntsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Carsten Lübek and
Thomas Biery. Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Beckman - Zywczyn, Lik-Tsun, Talib - van Liere, Paullin, MacKinnon, Spirig, Jie Siong - bin Ku Zainol, Rotteveel.
A 2-6-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Chemistry. Starters: Lantos - Kai-Xi, Chang Chin - Broos, Dong Tse, Niklasson, Andersson, Caen-Khim, Haafkens - El Boubakri, Ladzim.
Chemistry seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. They were singing the praises of
Maikel Rotteveel 6 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from just outside the centre part of the opponent's penalty area found its way over the visitors keeper to make the score 1 - 0 for Grilled. Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed Chemistry's
Oh Dong Tse a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 8 minutes into the game. 8 minutes into the game, Chemistry had difficulty finding their positions and their organization dropped to
weak. 10 minutes into the match

poor level of organization. Cheers filled the stadium as
Maikel Rotteveel broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 3 - 0 goal for Grilled.
Subri bin Ku Zainol should probably have put his team up another goal after 38 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
Brúnó Lantos kept the visitors in the game. Chemistry's
Heng Chang Chin got himself booked for a foul. Cheers filled the stadium as
Sylweriusz Zywczyn broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 4 - 0 goal for Grilled. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 57 percent of possession.
Chemistry's coach had an extra briefing during the break, and after that his players had
passable organization. Chemistry's
Remo Haafkens's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert
Mohamed El Boubakri was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to make the score 4 - 1. Chemistry reduced the score after 68 minutes to 4 - 2 as
Qin Caen-Khim easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. Chemistry were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 74 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to
Shahrulnizam Ladzim, who smashed it home to make the score 4 - 3. The home crowd just couldn't believe it when
Sylweriusz Zywczyn missed a penalty after 77 minutes of the match. After 84 minutes, the visitors evened the score after
Mohamed El Boubakri made it through the middle and struck home the 4 - 4 goal. 86 minutes in, Grilled's
Dani Spirig received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Chemistry were forced to a substitution as
Brúnó Lantos couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing
Yann Jolly to come in from the sidelines. 89 minutes in, the referee awarded Grilled a penalty.
Sylweriusz Zywczyn coolly slotted it home for a 5 - 4 lead. That made three goals for
Sylweriusz Zywczyn and he was marked down for the hat trick. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 52 percent possession of the ball.
Grilled's best player was
Lorenz Paullin.
Brad Beckman on the other hand, had a terrible day. Chemistry's best player was
Mohamed El Boubakri.
Oh Dong Tse turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 4.
