Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Bao-Tam - Pakpao, Tuan-Mu, Dewilde - Dai-Lin, Siu-Yue, Noor Yadah, Kek-Tjiang, Stanton - Hjortlind, Stern.
It was obvious that ViRtU were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. After 1 minutes, Grilled's
Joe Stern made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. After 18 minutes of play,
Lennart Erin equalised for ViRtU after an elegant attack from the right. ViRtU's ability to press their opponents all over the field paid off frequently. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 33 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
Maths Månsson, who, unaided, came in from the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors' keeper. Halftime score was 2 - 1. ViRtU claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.
Ma Dai-Lin was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. After 66 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
Mao Seng-Leong might have resulted in another goal for ViRtU. However,
Hang Bao-Tam made a spectacular save.
Wen Pu-Yang increased ViRtU's lead to 3 - 1, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. ViRtU held the ball, with a clear 54 percent of possession.
Most important ViRtU player was
Sun Nha-thao.
Stig-Erig Hörén on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was
Shen Kek-Tjiang.
Asher Stanton on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
