FMA 3 - 6 Grilled
ather conditions were fairly good for football, and FMA Utd Arena saw a crowd turnout of 73999.
Kazimierz Tałaj was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Manuel Bauzá and
Gabriel Billaud. People from all over had joined up for the derby. FMA tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Spãtariu - Bjørnstad, Dockery, Mészöly - Foskolos, Ke-Ma, Ihle, Ying Boon, Caicedo - Ondrák, Yao Jin.
Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Abed-Sulaiman - Zywczyn, Fredgård, Bona - Kek-Tjiang, Spirig, Han Kok, Paullin, Swee Pheng - Martinsson, Simon.
Grilled used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. A header from
Dani Spirig connected with a corner kick after 21 minutes, and the ball ended up with
Qiu Swee Pheng of Grilled who shot home the 0-1 goal. With a shot floated in from just outside the penalty area after 33 minutes played,
Ignác Ondrák of FMA evened the score to 1 - 1. After 38 minutes,
Nathanael Ihle came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to put away the 2 - 1 goal, giving FMA the lead. Grilled levelled the score after 39 minutes to make it 2 - 2, as
Dani Spirig struck home after a fine midfield combination through the middle, leaving him completely unmarked.
Ignác Ondrák gave FMA the lead with 3 - 2, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post.
István Mészöly behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 40 minutes as he gave the ball away to
Dimitri Simon. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. After 42 minutes, the visitors evened the score after
Dimitri Simon made it through the middle and struck home the 3 - 3 goal. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 3. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.
Grilled took the lead 46 minutes into the game, scoring the 3 - 4 goal after some elegant plays down the middle.
Lorenz Paullin was the scorer.
Sylweriusz Zywczyn increased Grilled's lead to 3 - 5 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. Confident in their lead, Grilled decided to play a more defensive game at this point. Grilled's
Shen Kek-Tjiang made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 84 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender sprang up, clearing the ball on the line. Grilled increased the lead to 3 - 6 as
Sylweriusz Zywczyn scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. Grilled's
Anders Fredgård showed off his trademark ability to do the unexpected with a tricky pass after 87 minutes. Unfortunately,
Qiu Swee Pheng was startled by the play and wasn't able to control the finish. The home crowd cheered when, after 88 minutes,
Dimitri Simon's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.
The most dominating FMA player was without a doubt
Quan Ke-Ma.
Mohamed Bjørnstad on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Grilled player was
Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman. However,
Qiu Swee Pheng made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 6.
