24865 spectators had come to Singapore Arena this cloudy day. Axel Abrell was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Anthony Godefroy and Pedro Mulleners. The match took place on neutral ground. Moeinsingapore's lineup was: Washington - Rego, Haapola, Oldenbeuving - Clementz, Gupta, Yew Shun, Lopez, Isturiz - Almeta, Feng Da.

Grilled's starters: Marcol - Himadas, 其材 (Qicai) - Reddy, Teck Fu, Keng Chuan, Kwang Tse, Andrović - Thach, Chitre, An Keng.

Moeinsingapore entered the field in a 3-5-2 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+7) level with that tactic. The visiting Gandhik Chitre was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 15 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. After 32 minutes, speedy Gerti Almeta dashed past his marker, making plenty of room for the second wave of attack. However, Yang 'The Ox' Feng Da failed to score. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 34 minutes, making it 0 - 2. Lim An Keng was noted down as the scorer. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, Chad Thach would have put Grilled up another goal 35 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. With 38 minutes played, Aw Keng Chuan nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The referee showed Moeinsingapore's Jerome Rego the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled's Chia Kwang Tse hurt his back 42 minutes into the match, and had to be convinced by the medical team that it was safer not to continue the match. This gave 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) a chance to take to the field instead. Grilled's Chad Thach showed his experience, anticipating the outcome of the opponent's defensive clearance and positioning himself perfectly to volley in an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box. 0 - 3. Moeinsingapore refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, Risto Haapola managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 3. Halftime score was 1 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 53 percent of the ball.

Jaime Isturiz did everything he could to get one back for his Moeinsingapore, but keeper Radomil Marcol denied him with a spectacular block. With the scoreboard showing that 73 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after Chad Thach came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Gerti Almeta tried to get a goal back for Moeinsingapore but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. As the match clock reached 75 minutes, Grilled's organisation began to suffer due to a lack of experience. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 3 minutes as stoppage time. The home crowd were delighted when Yang 'The Ox' Feng Da scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 2 - 3. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! A well-timed setup from Goh Yew Shun preceded the goal. The match ends 2 - 3. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Most important Moeinsingapore player was Akolie Lopez. Grilled's best player was Gandhik Chitre.
