Grilled fielded: Marcol - Himadas, 其材 (Qicai) - 長野 (Nagano), Kwang Tse, Keng Chuan, Teck Fu, Andrović - Thach, Chitre, An Keng.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team TimyWu went for 4-5-1 while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+6) level with that tactic. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 17 minutes allowed Hwang Teck Fu to score for Grilled. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. The home crowd cheered when, after 23 minutes, Lim An Keng's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Darko 'Donnie' Andrović came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Plamen Peychev but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Chia Kwang Tse of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Hein Thiha Pyae Ko entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 70 minutes. TimyWu's Stefan Meiburg made a successful breakthrough on the left after 71 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. Joakimas Berkmonas's speed was almost enough to give TimyWu a goal after 76 minutes, but his nice pass to 黄 (Huang) 仲平 (Zhongping) was not taken care of properly. With 80 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Hein Thiha Pyae Ko of Grilled to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. Darko 'Donnie' Andrović pulled the strings in the build-up. 林 (Lin) 佑宗 (Youzong) of TimyWu received a yellow card after 83 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Lim An Keng off the field. Mohd Marzuki Khairul took his place. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Damian Hutter came on for Raúl Himadas. With Raúl Himadas no longer on the pitch, Aw Keng Chuan took over free kick duty. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 0 - 2. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Víťazoslav Jaroš performed admirably for TimyWu. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Gandhik Chitre.
