Raúl Himadas was the scorer. 17 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as Lim An Keng finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Controlar's opponents know to be wary of Surya Rajkumar's speed, but it made little difference as he flew past the defence 23 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! Raúl Himadas curled his corner straight toward the goal, but the tricky shot was somehow blocked by the keeper. However, Grilled's Lim An Keng managed to get hold of the rebound and scored the 0-3 goal. 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) was, after 33 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Pedro Vasco Conceição Correia made the save. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, Lim An Keng would have put Grilled up another goal 34 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The home crowd was not impressed when Raúl Himadas came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 37 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 4. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) came on for Aw Keng Chuan. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from Chad Thach after 49 minutes, and prevented Grilled from going up another goal. Controlar's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision! Darian David's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper. Chia Kwang Tse came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Pedro Vasco Conceição Correia but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. After 65 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Gandhik Chitre who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 5. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Lim An Keng was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 69 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. 70 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. Raúl Himadas would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Damian Hutter entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 89 minutes. With Raúl Himadas no longer on the pitch, 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) took over free kick duty. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Lim An Keng gave Paulino Trindade a quick hug as he left the field. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 2 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 5.
