Grilled solidified their lead at the 24 minute mark, as Hwang Teck Fu dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; Tristan Gillot made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily scored to reduce the lead to 2 - 1 37 minutes into the match. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Haha, with 54 percent of the ball.

Dimitrakis Stavrou tied the game at 2 - 2 after 53 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. After 58 minutes, Haha's Ooi Ming Hock made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 2 - 3. After 68 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Tristan Gillot to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 2 - 4. Ooi Ming Hock increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 2 - 5. Cheong Chi Wen laid it on a plate with that delivery! Klas Bernhardsson would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Luis Ricardo Sáenz entered the game for Haha as the match clock showed 75 minutes. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 3 minutes. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! Chad Thach challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 90 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. The match ends 2 - 5.
