The spectators at the stadium today were in for an afternoon of sunshine. It was a very hot day and some players suffered from this, especially those relying on tough physical play or a lot of fast runs. For the technical ones, on the other hand, this was ideal conditions. Mumu's lineup was: Petit - Engels, Muriel, Wiedemayr - Gudmundsen, Putrino, Trafach, Altimir, Jatusripithak - Cararach, Alier.

The following players had been chosen by Grilled: Marcol - Himadas, 其材 (Qicai) - Reddy, Thach, Chitre, An Keng, Andrović - Kwang Tse, Khairul, Teck Fu.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Mumu F.C. went for 3-5-2 while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+7) level with that tactic. 9 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Mumu was Aaron 'Trabucaire' Trafach. A precise pass from Ramon 'La bala' Cararach made the goal possible. After 26 minutes, Tonny Gudmundsen put Mumu ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Filippo 'Presidente' Putrino laid it on a plate with that delivery! Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. The visitors replied 31 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as Lim An Keng dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. Grilled tied it all up, 35 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by Lim An Keng, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2. 37 minutes into the match, Grilled nearly took the lead, as Hwang Teck Fu broke through on the right. Jacques Petit made the save, however. It was 2 - 2 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

After 53 minutes, Grilled put themselves up 2 - 3, as Chia Kwang Tse finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. Mumu's Pongsiri Jatusripithak put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 3 - 3 with 62 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. Filippo 'Presidente' Putrino laid it on a plate with that delivery! Mumu broke through on the left 63 minutes into the game, with Àngel 'San Renito' Altimir firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 4 - 3 lead. A precise pass from Pongsiri Jatusripithak made the goal possible. Grilled levelled the score after 69 minutes to make it 4 - 4, as Mohd Marzuki Khairul struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. 85 minutes into the game, Mumu wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Jacques Petit gave Çetin Okaner a quick hug as he left the field. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. As the match clock reached 89 minutes, Grilled's organisation began to suffer due to a lack of experience. As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called. Mumu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

During the break, Grilled's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. Grilled's Raúl Himadas placed the ball right at his teammate's feet with an inch perfect corner, but Brian 'Was Born' Reddy couldn't finish with the crowd letting out a collective grunt of shock as it went past the post on the wrong side. 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) came close to putting the visiting team one up 95 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but Çetin Okaner managed to tip the ball to a corner. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, Bouko Engels scored for Mumu putting them ahead 5 - 4, after 103 minutes. 106 minutes in, Grilled's Mohd Marzuki Khairul received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 108 minutes, Lim An Keng broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. Çetin Okaner made a great block, though. Pongsiri Jatusripithak could have put Mumu up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 112 minutes. 119 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Aw Keng Chuan came on for Lim An Keng. Chia Kwang Tse would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Dimitris Germanakos entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 119 minutes. The match ends 5 - 4. Aaron 'Trabucaire' Trafach performed admirably for Mumu. Most important Grilled player was Chad Thach.
