Grilled used their divine (+5) ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Where ever Gandhik Chitre went, Vitaliano Pater was there, nibbling on his heels. An admirable display of efficient man marking! The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 7 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Ibi Sodiqov, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Ibi Sodiqov had a fantastic opportunity to put Moldy_Figs up another goal 13 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. The referee showed Moldy_Figs's Tomi Velling the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Sigvald Flamquist almost put Moldy_Figs ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Moldy_Figs, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Aw Keng Chuan entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Darko 'Donnie' Andrović took over the role of being the Grilled captain. Tomi Velling should probably have put his team up another goal after 61 minutes after breaking through the middle, but some great goalkeeping by Radomil Marcol kept the visitors in the game. Moldy_Figs's Ryan Fausing was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - Dilshod Iskandarov managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 2 - 0 after 64 minutes. A bit later, Grilled's Lim An Keng easily reduced the lead to 2 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Tomi Velling squirmed through their central defence after 79 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. Moldy_Figs's Andrea Valiante increased the lead to 4 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 85 minutes. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Raúl Himadas reluctantly made way for Damian Hutter on the pitch. With Raúl Himadas no longer on the pitch, 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) took over free kick duty. The referee announced 1 minute of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 4 - 1. Moldy_Figs enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
