The crowd turning up at the stadium today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. The rain was pouring down, it was the kind of weather favoured by strong players who stick to simple football. For players blessed by speed or technical skills, the day really was as grim as for everyone else. Ohlendorfer Kickers started the game in a 4-5-1 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Grilled used their divine (+5) ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. With 9 minutes gone, Grilled had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, Hwang Teck Fu did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. After 13 minutes of play, Grigorakis Afroudakis gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. The visiting team's Darko 'Donnie' Andrović was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 26 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. After 31 minutes, Grilled's Mohd Marzuki Khairul made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. After 33 minutes Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal from a penalty taken by Raúl Himadas, but the keeper made an unbelievable save. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 58 percent of the ball.

夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Aw Keng Chuan entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Darko 'Donnie' Andrović took over the role of being the Grilled captain. The visitors' Chad Thach took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 51 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Grilled. 65 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Ohlendorf substitution. Jochen Nekola came on for Ernesto Troncoso. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Mohd Marzuki Khairul came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Agamemnon Atsalas but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. At 80 minutes into the game, Ohlendorf's Mario Principato deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 2 - 3. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Raúl Himadas reluctantly made way for Damian Hutter on the pitch. As Raúl Himadas exited the field, 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. The referee announced 1 minute of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 2 - 3. Grilled had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Grigorakis Afroudakis performed admirably for Ohlendorf. Grilled's best player was Chad Thach.
