Nemoj po glavi druže plavi started the game in a 3-5-2 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Nemoj decided to play creatively at a divine level. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+5) level with that tactic. After 5 minutes, Nemoj's Noa Mrkić swiftly ran past 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 0. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Grilled tied it all up, 13 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by Lim An Keng, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 1 - 1. Przemysław Grądek placed the corner kick in just the right area, high up but out of reach of the keeper, giving Nemoj's Stanley Resignac an easy chance to knock it in for 2 - 1. Stanley Resignac's lightning pace was too much for 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) who could only look on as the Nemoj player blasted one home. 3 - 1. 36 minutes into the match, Grilled replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 2. Darko 'Donnie' Andrović scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. Lino Ruscito could have increased the lead after 37 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Nemoj's Luka Hočevar blocked one attack after another by Grilled, finally picking the ball up for himself and powering through towards the goal. It paid off! 4-2 after 37 minutes. Chad Thach could've grabbed a goal for Grilled 38 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. Nemoj managed to extend their lead to 5 - 2 when Stanley Resignac cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At that, Stanley Resignac was noted down for a hat trick! Chad Thach nearly reduced the lead 42 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by 直人 (Naoto) 小田 (Oda) prevented the attempt coming in from the right flank from hitting the back of the net. Halftime score was 5 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 53 percent of the ball.

As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) reluctantly made way for Aw Keng Chuan on the pitch. Darko 'Donnie' Andrović became the new Grilled captain. Nemoj's Franjo Kokolja increased the lead to 6 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 78 minutes. Grilled's right side looked dangerous after 85 minutes, as Gandhik Chitre broke through. 直人 (Naoto) 小田 (Oda) continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. Grilled had a fair chance to reply after 86 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end Brian 'Was Born' Reddy was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Nemoj scored another to make it 7 - 2 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Andrzej Rama after 87 minutes. Grilled's Raúl Himadas got himself booked for a foul. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Damian Hutter came on for Raúl Himadas. With Raúl Himadas no longer on the pitch, 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) took over free kick duty. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Darko 'Donnie' Andrović off the field. Kendell El Khateeb took his place. 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) was the new captain of Grilled - handed the armband by the departing player. 89 minutes into the match, Nemoj's Stanley Resignac demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to Luka Hočevar who chipped it in for 8 - 2. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 3 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 8 - 2. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Most important Nemoj player was Stanley Resignac. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Lim An Keng.
