It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd that came out to the stadium today. The intense heat made it hard for players relying on strength or speed to shine. On the other hand, it provided perfect conditions for the more technical players. The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team BSV-ALLSTARS went for 4-4-2 while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. BSV-ALLSTARS were relying on their magical ability to counter-attack. Grilled used their divine (+4) ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. 11 minutes into the game, Grilled's Raúl Himadas missed an opportunity to score the leading goal from a penalty when he delivered the shot straight into the keeper's hands. Against a lesser team, Grilled could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 22 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. BSV-ALLSTARS played a good counterattacking move down the left 23 minutes into the match, with Lukáš Josífek finishing well for 1 - 0. The home team will be cursing Mohd Marzuki Khairul for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 1 - 1 after 37 minutes. Hwang Teck Fu pulled the strings in the build-up. After 39 minutes Assem Abd El Azeem made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to Lukáš Josífek who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 2 - 1. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) reluctantly made way for Aw Keng Chuan on the pitch. Darko 'Donnie' Andrović became the new Grilled captain. With 52 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after Chad Thach came through the middle, but his shot went wide. Grilled's right side looked dangerous 55 minutes in, but Sergio Jiménez Gago made a good save on Chad Thach's hard shot to the top corner. Grzegorz Bugajski was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from BSV-ALLSTARS's defence 56 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 3 - 1. The visitors got a chance to pull one back after 57 minutes, as the home defence went to sleep, leaving Hwang Teck Fu completely unmarked in the middle. His strike was pathetic though, and dribbled into the arms of the home side's keeper. Lukáš Josífek knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 4 - 1 after 58 minutes. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for Lukáš Josífek. After 62 minutes, speedy Assem Abd El Azeem dashed past his marker, making plenty of room for the second wave of attack. However, Philhard Glanner failed to score. 68 minutes in, Chad Thach made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but Sergio Jiménez Gago refused to let the ball slip by him. After 75 minutes, the BSV-ALLSTARS coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Grzegorz Bugajski off the field. Jack Sibthorpe took his place. 80 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a BSV-ALLSTARS substitution. Hugo Piron came on for Sergio Jiménez Gago. The BSV-ALLSTARS captaincy was handed to Philhard Glanner. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Raúl Himadas gave Damian Hutter a quick hug as he left the field. As Raúl Himadas exited the field, 元気 (Genki) 長野 (Nagano) volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. The visitors replied 90 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 4 - 2, as Mohd Marzuki Khairul dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. The match ends 4 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 59 percent of the ball.

Lukáš Josífek performed admirably for BSV-ALLSTARS. Grilled's best player was Mohd Marzuki Khairul.
