Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 55947 to
Ballota Stadium.
Jean-Eudes Bibaut was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ahmad Omar El-Abbadi and
Ronald Jacobsson. The match took place on neutral ground.

Shoryuken FC entered the field in a 3-4-3 formation. The visitors,
Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup.
Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle, taking advantage of their
divine (+5) level with that tactic.
Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
Grilled took the lead 13 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle.
Gandhik Chitre was the scorer. After 16 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
Raúl Himadas who increased
Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. With 28 minutes played,
Grilled put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
Chad Thach.
SKFC's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 29 minutes into the match as
Jimmie Yen ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 1 - 3. With 31 minutes played,
Grilled's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
Mohd Marzuki Khairul he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 4. Halftime score was 1 - 4.
Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the
Grilled coach let
Paulino Trindade replace
Raúl Himadas after 46 minutes. As
Raúl Himadas exited the field,
Aw Keng Chuan volunteered to be the new set pieces taker.
Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. After 49 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
Gandhik Chitre a chance to increase the lead for
Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 5.
SKFC's
Andrey Khvorov cut towards the middle after 51 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 2 - 5.
Aw Keng Chuan left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 60 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
Damian Hutter was the replacement. With
Aw Keng Chuan no longer on the pitch,
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy became the new set pieces taker. The home crowd cheered when, after 72 minutes,
Lim An Keng's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when
Nat Choe scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 3 - 5. After the ball was lifted in from the left,
Lim An Keng was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 80 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The home team's supporters got excited again when
Aaron Meehan broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 4 - 5.
SKFC's
Jani Konttila got himself booked for a foul. We may never know what
Kjetil Hagen was thinking when he tried to pass the ball through a crowd of opponents. Luckily for him,
Grilled's
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy somehow missed the wide open net. A drive down the left side allowed
Paulino Trindade to get in close and score another goal for
Grilled after 87 minutes, taking the score to 4 - 6. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 3 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 4 - 6. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by
Grilled, with 59 percent of the ball.
The most dominating
SKFC player was without a doubt
Nat Choe.
Mohd Marzuki Khairul performed admirably for
Grilled.
