After 8 minutes, Raúl Himadas put Grilled ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Ambush's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. Ambush's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. With 48 minutes played, Mohd Marzuki Khairul could have brought this one home for Grilled as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Taylor Pham almost seemed to dance around Chia Kwang Tse, his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for Ambush, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Raúl Himadas squirmed through their central defence after 75 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Ambush pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. Grilled's Chad Thach had an excellent opportunity after 82 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! What was Li Su Yi thinking? That's what everyone wondered when, for no apparent reason, he shot a cross pass over his own penalty area, giving Gandhik Chitre an extra chance, but unfortunately for Grilled, he didn't get the shot right. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Gandhik Chitre off the field.
