Claseek started the game in a 3-5-2 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Grilled used their divine (+7) ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Despite hurting his left foot at the 15 minute mark, Raúl Himadas decided to keep playing. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, Petar Kerkenyakov was very close to getting through after 35 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. Radomil Marcol had to be alert to tip Petar Kerkenyakov's fantastic penalty kick over the bar, denying Claseek a chance at the lead. A free kick aimed at the keeper's far post almost gave Grilled the lead 38 minutes in, but the ball just wasn't able to squirm its way through the defensive wall. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Chan Kong Seng, but the Claseek player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Things were deteriorating for the away team as Claseek scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Viktor Štaffa after 41 minutes. A precise pass from Jon Magajna made the goal possible. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

The guests got an opportunity to get a goal back after 61 minutes and Raúl Himadas took it from the penalty spot, scoring easily for 2 - 1. Petar Kerkenyakov's curling free kick almost found the goal for Claseek, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. Chad Thach came close to levelling the score 66 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. Viktor Štaffa's lightning pace was too much for 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) who could only look on as the Claseek player blasted one home. 3 - 1. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Raúl Himadas gave Damian Hutter a quick hug as he left the field. As Raúl Himadas left the field, the coach signaled to Brian 'Was Born' Reddy to be the new set pieces taker. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Mohd Marzuki Khairul reluctantly made way for Mohsen El Khateeb on the pitch. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 1 minute. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! With 89 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Grilled showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 2 when Hwang Teck Fu got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Claseek to 4 - 2 as Lampros Lithopoulos finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. The match ends 4 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 52 percent of the ball.
