A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 70729 to
The Cooking Pot.
Alejandro Esteban Ruiz Díaz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Teodor Purucker and
Ben Bossut. The intense heat made it hard for players relying on strength or speed to shine. On the other hand, it provided perfect conditions for the more technical players.

divine (+7) level with that tactic.
Ambush used their
brilliant skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field.
Grilled made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
Gandhik Chitre completely alone with keeper
Tajuddin Ridwan Taqiuddin, who made a spectacular block.
Ambush's
Li Su Yi could have put the guests one up after 7 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
Dimitris Germanakos was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
Ambush's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle.
Ambush pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. Some great play up the middle by
Grilled led to a chance for
Paulino Trindade to score after 34 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.

Grilled with a strike from the left, but
Tajuddin Ridwan Taqiuddin managed to ward the shot off for a corner.

Aw Keng Chuan left the field after 80 minutes having twisted his hand in a collision, causing a slight injury. The player that took his place was
Damian Hutter.
Lim An Keng made a superb strike after 82 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. After 83 minutes,
Lim An Keng made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 1 minute. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 1 - 1.
Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.
Grilled's best player was
Lim An Keng.
Ambush's top performer was clearly
