The 12000 fans in attendance at Xtreme Team F.C. Arena were roasting in the hot sun. Bernardino Real was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Zbigniew Gruber and József 'Mihawk' Rózsa. The intense heat made it hard for players relying on strength or speed to shine. On the other hand, it provided perfect conditions for the more technical players. Grilled's lineup was: Germanakos - Himadas, 其材 (Qicai) - Reddy, Teck Fu, Keng Chuan, Kwang Tse, Trindade - Thach, Chitre, An Keng.

Xtreme Team F.C. 2 started the game in a 4-4-2 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. After 6 minutes, Grilled's Chad Thach made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Hwang Teck Fu received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 15 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 16 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Gandhik Chitre a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. 1 - 3 came about as Brian 'Was Born' Reddy tried to clear the ball, but made it an own goal instead, to the great displeasure of his keeper. After 29 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Chia Kwang Tse to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. After 34 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Lim An Keng who increased Grilled's lead to 1 - 5. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 5. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.

46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Mohd Marzuki Khairul came on for Paulino Trindade. Grilled's Lim An Keng's long shot really ought to have found the net 58 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. The visitors almost increased their lead after 66 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. Grilled increased their lead after 71 minutes when Gandhik Chitre broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. Xtreme's Tahir Jameel Azmi got himself booked for a foul. Having taken a hard knock between his legs, Dimitris Germanakos limped off the pitch in a reduced state of dignity. He could not continue, managing only 75 minutes for his team this day. Cameron Law had already been warming up, and came on for Dimitris Germanakos. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 78 minutes, making it 1 - 7. Mohd Marzuki Khairul was noted down as the scorer. After 79 minutes, Grilled sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Lim An Keng, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 8. As the 88 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Raúl Himadas reluctantly made way for Damian Hutter on the pitch. As Raúl Himadas exited the field, Aw Keng Chuan volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 4 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 1 - 8. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.

Most important Xtreme player was Tahir Jameel Azmi. Mohd Izzaq Marjan on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's top performer was clearly Gandhik Chitre. On the other hand, Cameron Law's play was disheartening.
