It was obvious that Grilled had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. After 54 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and Chad Thach gave the Grilled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 54 minutes, Damian Hutter came on for Aw Keng Chuan. Abd El Rahman Abd El Khalek seems to have an uncanny ability to try the unusual. He nearly produced a great goal - unfortunately for Tampines his shot went just wide this time. The referee announced 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 3 - 0. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

Gústav Thoroddsen performed admirably for Grilled. Dimitris Germanakos on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Tampines player was Abd El Rahman Abd El Khalek. On the other hand, Tan Kang Tse's play was disheartening.
