Football caught their opponents out with a clever counter-attack down the right wing 26 minutes into the game. Roberto 'Eagle' Alviso was there to finish off the move - 0 - 2! The home crowd was briefly mollified when Gústav Thoroddsen reduced the lead to 1 - 2 after a brilliant midfield give-and-go through the middle. 28 minutes into the game, Chia Kwang Tse came close to leveling the score with a dangerous shot from the center of the area that went just over the bar. After 70 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving Chad Thach off. Mohd Marzuki Khairul took his place. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as 夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) tried lifting the ball over keeper Bruno 'Armonica' Lo Fria. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. Benito 'B.B. King' Bazoli of Football received a yellow card after 84 minutes for unsportsmanlike behavior.
