Clear skies welcomed the 65143 spectators who had made their way to Love Street Stadium. Rogier Wagenaer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Florin Crăciunică and Robbert-Jan van Hövell tot Westervlier en Wezeveld. The match took place on neutral ground. Grilled's starters: Germanakos - Hutter, 其材 (Qicai) - Reddy, Kwang Tse, Keng Chuan, Khairul, Parada - La Face, Chitre, Tokarz.

As the teams prepared to start the match, they both lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+3) (23) level with that tactic. They were singing the praises of Gandhik Chitre 16 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Grilled. After 18 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after Goh Yew Shun made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. Moeinsingapore's Goh Yew Shun could have put the guests one up after 32 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but Dimitris Germanakos was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Mohd Osman Hazimi of Moeinsingapore was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The head of Goh Yew Shun connected with a corner kick after 38 minutes, and the ball ended up with Mohd Osman Hazimi of Moeinsingapore who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 2. After 39 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Michael Hajer who increased Moeinsingapore's lead to 1 - 3. After 41 minutes, Evandro La Face had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Grilled with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Orest Tokarz from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 41 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The home crowd cheered when, after 43 minutes, Goh Yew Shun's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Grilled's Aw Keng Chuan cut towards the middle after 51 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 2 - 3. Goh Yew Shun received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 68 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 2 - 4. The Moeinsingapore fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Grilled refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, Mohd Marzuki Khairul managed to slip the ball home for 3 - 4. Moeinsingapore's Abhishek Gupta made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 76 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 3 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Grilled's best player was Aw Keng Chuan. On the other hand, Damian Hutter's play was disheartening. Moeinsingapore's top performer was clearly Goh Yew Shun. Mohd Osman Hazimi turned in a dismal performance, however.
